Strapped, Capped, and Sleeved

The 2014 wedding collections have emerged, and I for one am very, very excited.  Though I love a good strapless dress as much as the next girl, I am over the moon with this year’s designs, which heavily feature gowns with ornate straps and sleeves.  For my own wedding eight years ago, I wore a gorgeous Lazaro gown that was strapless, but truth be told, if I had seen some of these delicate straps or lovely capped sleeves, I might have walked down the aisle in a completely different dress!

It isn’t just that the dresses have straps; it’s what they add to the overall design that makes them so perfect.  Thin, jewel encrusted straps, plunging necklines with ornate flowers, and lacey, off-the-shoulder numbers – each demand your attention.  Whether dainty or daring, I just can’t get enough.  Here are a few of my favorites…do you love them as much as I do?! Dresses_edited-6
